AICTE SPICES CLUBS
Acharya Institute of Technology, Soladevanahalli, Bangalore is pioneered in promoting and imparting the Technical and values-based education to the students since 2000 in the state of Karnataka. The institute is offering UG, PG and Ph.D. programs.
To encourage the students for their holistic development, explore the creativity talent, innovative ideas, promoting the interest and develop the ethics among the students, the institute has established two clubs, "LAKSHYA" for technical events and "Uthkarsh" for non-technical activities.
The club activities are coordinated by Dr. Rajanna K and co-coordinated by Mr. Sumanth at Institute level, the activities are organized and supported by the faculty members from various departments. There are about 3512 student members registered.
LAKSHYA
"LAKSHYA" was started in the year 2014 where the students' community of curious developers trying to build real time applications using latest technologies and developing methods through industry experts and alumni. The club aim is to provide platform for knowledge sharing, problem solving, networking opportunities, technology upgradation, feedback and peer review, build reputation, career development, access to resources, collaborative projects, diversity of perspectives, community support, professional development, problem exploration and build reputation.
During 2022-23, Lakshya organised technical events such as idea hackathons, symposiums, technical talks, exhibitions at inter-intra level.

UTHKARSH
"Utkarsh" was started in the year 2019 which aims to encourage the students and provides the platform for the activities contribute significantly to a student's overall development, providing valuable experiences and skills that extend beyond the classroom to find a balance that works for them and aligns with their interests and goals. The club activities complement and contribute to the overall personal and professional development of students for skill development, leadership skills, communication skills, time management, networking opportunities, personal growth and confidence, health and wellness, cultural and diversity understanding, personal interests and hobbies, teamwork and collaboration, community engagement, stress relief and balance. Along with the coordinators and co-coordinators, Prof. Tejas K. mentors the students. During 2022-23, Utkarsh organised cultural and sports activites where the students were encouraged and participated at inter-intra level.
